Catechism of the Catholic Church

What does it mean to be Catholic? Whether or not you ascribe to this body of faith, the Catechism of the Catholic Church answers the questions one is sure to have about what members of the Catholic Church believe and why.  The expansive work was compiled due to changes brought about by Vatican II and a desire to bring Catholics to a clearer understanding of their faith.  Divided into four major sections, the text is organized using a question- answer format with explanations and footnotes guiding the reader to a deeper interaction with the Church's teachings.  An indispensable volume for any theology student, researcher, passionate or casual enthusiast of Catholicism.
